I worked with Nottinghamshire-based sauce experts Sauce Shop on the tone of voice brand guidelines, creative strategy and copywriting. As a food lover, it was a dream gig - they let me flex my creative muscles to show them that they can be a true disruptor brand.

This FSDU unit will be in all Aldi stores, the brief was to create copy that stops the customer as the browsed aisles with a catchy hook. I played on the fact that Aldi is a shop where people buy essentials, as well as non-essentials in their ‘middle aisle’.

Trent Bridge Cricket Ground

I was challenged to come up with a short line to be featured on an ad hoarding at the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground to show that fans could get Sauce Shop sauce on their food at the ground. I played off of the fact that cricket is often cancelled when it rains, using ‘drizzle’ as the focal word hook.

Hooky, fun Father’s Day paid ads. The brief was to play into the fact that most Father’s Day gifts are boring, and dad deserves something he’d actually use.
